My question that how can i make that in max? I'm a newbie to texturing:D

not sure what you are trying to simulate
something that is thrown out of focus when seen through the glass
or frosted glass
greasy smudged glass
wet glass

Downlad Architectural Glass from http://www.scriptspot.com/start.htm
Put it into stdplugins/stdscripts and you have a new material.

i'm trying to simulate a smudged glass, where objects very close to the glass are only a bit blurred, and objects far away are blurred.. i think think this is the ' greasy smudged glass'.. (Sorry for my bad English :) ) I'm checking out now Schnupps material..
Anyway this seems to be a very great community :D

Update : I turned out that i was looking for frosty glass, and Architecture glass seems to work very fine :)
