View Full Version : Gary and Grant. Post apocalyptic animation short
Cosmotron 08-20-2008, 02:33 PM Heres a little film a finished a few months back. I initially did it just to practice character animation but got a little carried away. Any feedback or criticism is highly welcome, I know there are areas to improve through the whole thing but sometimes I have trouble spotting them myself.

Hi, thanks for you kind comments. I made this in Maya and comped it in After Effects. The outlines were done using the vector renderer as I had a few problems with the Maya toon lines, that being said I wish now I had used maya toon lines as with a bit of work I think the results would have been a lot better.
That is all I have done of Gary and Grant although I thought of perhaps doing some more if I ever get round to it.

I've just started to muck around with Maya.
so far I have been tackling the modeling side of things but was looking into rigging a character but cant get my head around it.
