View Full Version : Export to DVD in premiere

I just want to ask if i export to dvd in premiere, does this mean that its gonna work on a DVD player ONLY and not on the computer ? as i tried export to DVD but the movie didnt work on my computer after the export process has finished...

Hi There,

Do you have a "DVD player" codec installed on your computer? I had to download one. I believe I have something called Sonic Cineplayer DVD Pack. There is free software that you can download too. You are lucky....when I try to export directly from Adobe Premiere I don't get a DVD at all.

I've just downloaded a free software called VLC media player and it worked :) thank u so much i really didnt know the reason for not playing on my computer but finally i found it.
but i thought it will give me a better quality from exporting as a quicktime movie when i use animation codec with it... anyhow i learnt something new today....

But why u dont get DVD when exporting from premiere?
I use premiere pro and i find export to DVD under movie, frame when i press export...
