My congrats also. Having a child is an amazingly, wonderful, fantastic experience...
Enjoy every moment of it... even with my daughter at only 2.5 years old, it's been a quick couple of years.
Cheers,
Mike

There are not too many "cosmic" moments in our lifes, but this definately is one of them.
Congrats, father, and welcome to the club ;)

Edit: If you need tutorials, just ask, I have four ;)
Do babies rendered in EI look better than babies rendered in C4D?
(Sorry, sometimes I can't help myself.)
Congratulations to you, Scott! Please try to be the best father you can. There are too many parents out there today that appear to have become bored with the concept of guiding their young. Like a license to EI, a child is something you'll never be able to pawn off on someone else, so rise to the responsibility and make sure Kathyrn is nurtured, loved, protected, respected--and that she never doubts any of it.
Make sure she appreciates your personal strengths, and make sure she recognizes and understands your weaknesses. Tell her that honestly is always the best policy, and that even when it backfires, it stands as the only truly valuable thing on Earth. When she asks about God, tell her what you think, but don't pretend you know for sure. And when she asks about Santa Claus, don't lie--be creative. Any time she asks you a question, remember that she trusts you. And any time you can't answer her honestly, ask yourself why.
Damn, thank god I'm not a father--this selflessness shit would drive me up the wall.

Yes, congratulations and good luck!
Kids are certainly tiring- I just spent a week away with my partner's three grandchildren, boys aged 6, 7 & 9...
It strikes me that the first two words kids learn these days are 'I want...'

Welcome to the world of fatherhood, Scott.
For me, it was a discovery of love beyond anything I'd ever known.

thank you for all the kind words EVERYONE! I read them all from my room to Pam, when I haven't been sleeping, changing diapers, etc, etc.
If i can do this correctly, I am going to post a picture if I know how to do it right here.

Congratulation to you and your wife. She is adorable!
You'll see, the first year is hard. After it's worse...
