View Full Version : Scaling Anti-aliasing problem in AE

Hi,

I have a 1080 HD quicktime video that I need to scale into a composition of 720. The problem is, when I scale the image down, there are tons of jagged edges. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Well, is your footage interpretation correct? Do you have your comp viewer resolution set to full? Some of the artifacts could come from that. Also, what sources do you work with? Alternatively, have you tried one of the third party scaling plugins such as Instant HD or Resizer 2?
