Hi there erasehiot, this piece is not bad, and i thought a smile on the girl would have made her so much cuter. why the serious face? :P

The touches to the background (blurred), plants, and hands were good but I think the white line on the hair and parts of the wings were slightly too crude. If the white line is a rim light it should have a color and not just pure white. It feels abit cutted out and might be mistaked for a bad cut and paste in ur scene. Mayb u should try using the smudge tool in photoshop, i believe it will help u get rid of the crisp you dun want

Then I suggest working more on the part of the wings that is closest to the back of the girl, refining on the painting linework and adding details + transparency to the background to the centre of the wings, then leaving the outer parts of the wings more blurred becos the focus is on the centre of the girl.

Just my thoughts, hope to see more of your works, keep going man :)
