View Full Version : space animation using particles... needs some flare.

Hi,

I'm making an introduction for a DVD menu. I have come up with this:

dvdIntro.mov (http://www.leaveitdifficult.com/dvdIntro_test.mov) (It's a 50Mb file)

I used 3ds max and Pflow to make the particle reveal... and After effects for everything else. I'm not happy with the particle animation. I need to spruce up the motion of the particles... any suggestions or examples would be much appreciated.

The background and the particles looks like fuzzy snowflakes when it ought to be crisp. maybe a mix of the blurred and crisp would look better. Beyond that, it is disconcerting to start out apparently flying backwards, but then the words form. Some frame of reference would help.

you need to add some turbulance looks way to static , also have the particale come from off screen not right in font of you overall jus needs to be more random
