View Full Version : Question for particle gurus
Recently I have been watching the Gnomon free tutorial "collision emission stone".
At some point Alec mentions an expression to give a color to the particles, but it's not possible to see what he writes.
Does any of you know of this expression, and how to define colors for particles, the way he does ?
Thanx

First assign a per particle attribute to the particleShape, then :
particleShape1.rgbPP = <<1 , 0, 0>>; gives you red particles
particleShape1.rgbPP = <<rand(1,0),rand(1,0),rand(1,0)>>; gives you random assigned colors.
And you really don't have has to be a Particle guru to be known with these kind of expressions. They are very common when working with particles.
