I just read the announcement that Nevercenter is licensing their code for Silo3d.
http://nevercenter.com/about/source/
I don't know the terms and so forth, but it gave me a thought... A new version of Modeler (or Tesla) would be really cool if it did the following:
1. Upgraded to the latest ASICS 3d engine for NURBS.
2. Incorporated Silo 2.1 functionality inside for polys/sub-d, topology tool, uv-mapping, displacement painting, sculpting, etc.
Wouldn't that be amazing? Consider that as Silo's features increase, so would Modeler/Tesla's. It would be like expanding the development team.
Sincerely,
