"Corel is discontinuing the development of Bryce for the Mac. Bryce 5 is software for creating 3D landscapes and animations.

"At Corel we continually monitor the sales performances of our products to ensure we capitalize on market trends and opportunities," Meredith Dundas, Corel's communications manager, told MacCentral. "Through our research we have found that sales for Corel Bryce 5 are strongest with Windows customers, particularly at retail. As a result we have chosen to focus our efforts on Bryce 5 for Windows."

oh man... well that's a bit of a blow for the mac contingent. also dumb marketing people. duh! windows sales are higher than mac sales. jeez... count the number of machines, what do you expect. i just hope other's don't follow suit with this line of thinking, otherwise we will all be limited to Windows (are corel linked in with tcpa at all?). it's a shame corel ever got their hands on any of the old metacreations stuff :(
