I had made a thread a few months ago when Unlimited Saga was still in production. Well now I found a good video of the intro. Take a look, it's really worth it.

It is what I consider the best celshading, plus extremely talented designers and producer. The motion capture looks great with such characters too.

It's nice how they make the non-important characters all blue, it really gives focuss to the main characters. Very cool. I wish they made a movie like that, because THAT is original.

Absolutely stunning!

That's what I love about anime: There are so many different styles, it never gets boring - and new styles are being created every day!

If this game plays anything like it looks, then it just might be time to trade in my GameCube for a PS2...

Thanks for the link!

Well it's only in 3D in some cutscenes as far as I know. It's an RPG also. I don't think it is worth selling you GC:)

There are a lot of artworks of thatgame here. (http://www.naimoka.com/?rub=naora&page=us1)

Wow, I really didn't like this, which is a big surprise to me. I had seen a lot of images here and there so I was quite interested, but everything looks so freaky animated. Didn't anyone notice how boring and lifeless the mocap looked?

Boy, I need some more time to digest this and get over my disappointment. Maybe I can find something I like about it after a few more viewings.

What was wrong with the mocap? Looked good to me, and the dancing part was cool.

It looks like mocap. Boring. I hate seeing them settle. If your going to go through the trouble of doing animated characters, then take the time to animate them... bring them to life. Mocap doesn't do that. Yes mocap may be ok for regular mundane Joe's, but it shouldn't be for us.

Now I'm not dead set against mocap, it has it's uses. This wasn't one of the instances in my opinion.
