View Full Version : Bodypaint 3d paint problem

Hi!

I tried to paint a mesh that I imported, unfortunately, when I use the brush on the mesh, the whole surface is filled! Could someone tell me what i´m doing wrong?

I´m using the Demo from the maxon site to practice before my copy arrives( placed my order a few hours ago online :)) so I don´t have a handbook .

Sounds like the imported mesh doesn't have a proper UV setup.

Thats strange, I created UVs with Ultimate Unwrap, the generated texture map and UVs are also found and used by bodypaint, does that mean I have to re-assign or re-generate the Uvs?

go into body paint and look at your uv's. its possible you are using the wrong kinda of mapping.

i.e spherical instead of UVW.

but you have just gotta check in BP to see what everything is doing. its not like we can get on your computer to check out your mesh.
