Homage to one of the greatest lord of SFX ever lived, Stan Winston.

I'm trying to remake one of the creepiest and well designed creature Morlock from the movie The Time Machine. Hopefully I'll find time to finish this this.

Some dodgy references.

Oh good much better, lol. When I saw Morlocks I automatically thought of the old Time Machine. Yes, the new Morlocks are fantastic creature designs, good luck.

Old School - These things scared me to death when I first saw them. :D

Hi guys thanks for your replies and dropping by. Here is a slow update from me.
This is just the base mesh, no details just the basic structure and proportions of the character. Should be good enough to start sculpting.
Modeled the base mesh from scratch and tried to keep edge flow as consistent as possible, though i will have to add in some proper loops on the lower body later for good deformation.
One day spent modeling base model and 3 days collecting references :)

Next step will be digital sculpting'

This is very much required, if you wanna do a perfect piece. I know the importance.

Mesh is looking very fine . .

One question -
If you are using zbrush for sculpting, then are you gonna export teeth and eyes separately for different subtools or the whole mesh as a single tool or something else ?
