CGTalk - Folder management

Hi everybody,

I´m just thinking about creating a Max Script that is supposed to go through some folders, open files, apply some actions depending on the file names and then resave those in a new folder.

Is it possible to create folders with the help of Max Script?

Any help is much appreciated.

BTW: Sorry if this question sounds a bit dumb, but I´m just starting to tinker around with MaxScript after having used the program for a few years now.

Yep, you found it, makeDir, if you are looking at batch processing files you can also take a look at Batch It Max on my site.

sorry for the late answer, almost forgot about this thread, just looked into it. Thanks for the advice, that Batchit Max script looks really promising, I´ll be taking a good look into it.
