Title: The Hovel
Name: Tamas Tancos
Country: Hungary
Software: 3ds max, Digital Fusion, VRay

Hi! When I made the first sketches a few months ago I saw pictures in my mind about a flower built from steel and iron in a little hovel. Start to live and try to grow and approach towards the ligth, shining through the window. I added some elements to create the mood of old, cluttered hovel.

The models built in 3dsmax. Shading and lighting: Vray. And the final touch: coloring and layers in Fusion.

i like the image and concept, but it feels a bit cluttered, and the flowers get lost in the background. A bit of depth of field wouldn't go astray, as well as moving the fan over a bit more out of sight and out of focus. It also feels a bit too noisy, so if its a post effect, tone it down a bit, or maybe try different blending modes to get it to show up in the darker areas more than the lighter areas. But if its not post, then tyr upping your samples/bounces.

Nice work but I think could be simpler I mean u could separate background from the flowers by making it darker because right now it doesn't have good focus

Thanks guys the comments.

I try diffrent DOf on the image, but i felt it isnt working very well. Give some focus to the flowers but distroy all the details and the mood. That was the reason I didnt use it. Maybe on the fan it could be working. Without this hard noise, the picture was too clean I didnt like it. But is my oppinion. Thanks for the replies again.

I like this - although maybe it lacks a little depth? A more distinct lighting setup (maybe less light coming from the door & window) would probably help. I think you did a great job overall though.
