Sketch/Toon has a Line Render anti-alias control that ranges from Off~Best. Best quality is really slow. Would rendering at a lower quality, but increasing the scene AA gain anything?

Or is Line Anti-Aliasing a completely separate process than scene AA?

Also, what is the "Post Render" checkbox in the Sketch/Toon Render tab?

I alwasy keep my line aa REALLY low--and since most of the sketch renders I do are done as separate passes (just using the stroke line--not so much the NPR render options) I turn off AA as well for very good results.

Not sure about post render--but Im sure its in the HELP manual.
Maybe it allows for a multipass renderin conjunction with the beauty render.

I think it`s a completely different process.. AFAIK u can set ur Line-AA as high as u like but it`ll be let down by the shading unless u set Scene AA to `Best` which applies AA to materials/reflections/etc rather than just `Geometry` which antialaises object edges alone (and it doesn`t affect sketch lines)..

Thanks Cow! As anti-intuitive as is sounds, I turned off Line AA and got better results with scene AA. And it renders super fast!

Still haven't found what Post Render does...
