CGTalk - add attr to subcharacter set

View Full Version : add attr to subcharacter set - bug?

hi,

i have a character set and several subsets of it in place.
now, if i try adding an attr to a subset, no matter which, the charset stops working.
"error:...anim curve...connection...failed..."

there are no locked or hidden attributes involved.
when i put the new attrs in a newly created charset which is not part of the super character set it works like a charm. merging did not help either.

that is what i would call a bug, unless i missed something...

any suggestions?

Were there keyframes with the original character set to begin with, meaning when you created the character set did it already have keyframes on the attributes?
