View Full Version : script to turn a copied object into reference
abyjoe 08-12-2008, 03:04 PM i have 4 morph targets and 1 main object... I want to change few things on the main object and want all the morph targets to be updated with the same change so I don't have to do the morph again or don't have to do the same changes on all targets...
If i can get the targets to act as reference to the main object it will save me a lot of time... or is there another way I can do this !!!
thankx

You can try instead using 'Edit_Poly' modifier on one object and then copy it to all the others
Cheers,
Matan.
You could also easily use morphmodifier again to transfer changes. With a mesh select beneath it you could even define which parts you want to update and which you don't want to update. I guess I never trust editpoly modifier since it can be very unstable on saving and opening files, in my experience.
