Why insects keep popping up in animation i do not know. It's difficult to deny that they lend themselves well to our medium. We had a lot of fun making this gangster / film-noir inspired TV commercial for "Top End Pest Control" (based in NT, Australia). It was made using Maya 8.5, and of course a whole lotta After Effects and Photoshop. It might not have been the job with the biggest budget or widest exposure, but there's always a satisfaction in taking a simple idea, doing it right, and doing it well.

wow i loved it even though it was only 30 secs, good job i love the concept i could watch it a few times more because its simple and entertaining.

Loved it great job man, the lighting was excellent reminded me of sin city.

Very Godfather-esque. Excellent work, I really enjoyed that. I only wish it would of been longer ;)
