Any reel with a skating vicky pollard is alright by me! Awesome stuff. I'd be tempted to take out the acting clip with the blue guy, while its funny, the poses aren't too clear and there's a lot of twinning. Everything else is pretty solid, nice naturalistic acting with the monkey. Good luck with the job hunt.

Very good animation reel.
Just one minor comment would be that the facial animation seems not to be as strong as your physical animation. In some cases it seems you can go a little bit more extreme on the facial features.
On the other hand your physical animation looks awesome.

Hi,
Thanks for the comments, greatly appreciated.
Mattmos, the blue guy will be for the chop in the next version of my reel.
David-J, I'm working on a subtle acting piece right now. :)

Sweet! :D Fun stuff man! Your blocky guy crawling/climbing was amazing! Overall I thought it was pretty solid, all except the backflips. It looks more like the character is on a cable than propelling itself back. Try playing with the timing on that one. Good luck and keep up the great work!

Hey, nice stuff Jon.
My crits; Lose the blue guy, lose the backflip person, and lose the monkey block man from the beginning of the reel (it's fairly poppy), start with one of your dialogue pieces, then show one of the skaters, then back to dialogue again, then the other skater. These look like your strongest, and follow them with the climber, the dancing girl, and the big skating girl. If you must keep the monkey man, put it at the back of the reel, but I think you could probably lose it all together, (unless you go in and fix the pops, they are all when he picks his hands off the ground).
Good goin!

Hi Kreshnr,
Thanks for the comments.
The skateboarder rig is just a standard max biped with boxes attached to the bones, there's a blur script you can get to create/attach the boxes.
