View Full Version : cant start xsi 7 trial activation ???

hi everyoone i just want to try xsi 7 and its new features but there is a problem i installed is with no problem but cant activate trial...it have a error:
user directory contains non ascii character(s)
xsi will be terminate
pls help i really want to see new features...

XSI needs a user directory, normally created in C:\Users\Yourusername.
If your username contains non ascii characters (I guess your might contain some arabic ones) there might be problems.
Create another user with a username that contains only ascii characters and you should get past this.

Or edit setenv.bat.

The environment variable XSI_USERROOT determines the User folder.
