I'm working on a skater and I'm planing on doing pretty much all normal tricks, all different flips, grinds etc. I've got the basics done like the ollie so I wanted to try it out. Now what I was planing on doing was having my skater in a skate park (already done) and just ride around and do different animations. So I started with something simple I loaded up my ollie animations (30 frames) and created a new controller object to be able to move the skater around, just using that one. I made him land on a ledge from the ollie to go into a grind at frame 30. THen at frame 40 I moved the controlled forward to make him come to the end of the ledge. Then I wanted him to ollie out, so I loaded my animation again and chose insert at frame 40. However when I did this he moved back to his original position he's in on the first ollie ( so the x,y,z cordinates he was in when I saved the animation).
Is there anyway I can just load my animation file without loading the x,y,z postion he's in? Hope you understand what I mean.
Also my ollie is 30 frames long which is a whole bunch of keyframes. It basically looks like this [ aaaaaa aaa aaa] the a being keyframes. Is there anyway i can just make it look like this instead [ "ollie" ] and not have to look at all the keyframes?
