Hello everyone. I have been trying to research what would be the best workstation for me to get. I use Maya and would like to render while i work and all that other highend stuff. Currently I am looking at 2 Workstations. I am looking at boxx techs 7750 Series and 4600 Series.
For the 4600 Series I am looking at the Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor qx6850 (3ghz) (quadcore)
For the 7550 Series I am looking at Either the dual AMD Opteron Model 2356 (2.3ghz)(quadcore) or the Opteron 2222 (3.0 GHZ)(DualCore)
I configured it for:
NVIDIA Quadro fx 5600g
8gb ram
and the above mentioned cards.
I kept all specs except for Processor the same. Also the AMD one can hold more ram but uses ddr2 The Intel one uses ddr3. I am looking at the same amount of ram regardless of which one i get though.
Please Tell me which one is better. And feel free to suggest any Great Workstations that I should get if not one of these. I am looking at spending about 8,000 USD I might be willing to go a bit over.

If I can get something better for the same price don't hessitate to mention it. Looking to purchase in about a month or so.
