CGTalk - An odd request

Not sure if this is the forum for it, but I figure someone here should be able to easily create it. One of my friend's teacher's once stopped an important test to say "imagine a spherical cow." I’m just wondering if anyone has a cow texture already put together, and if possible put it on a sphere (no arms or legs needed, just a single sphere). Anyways, thanks for any help with this oddball request.

I would prefer think : how a hunter would use the skin of the killed animal as a carpet :scream:

couldnt you just draw out a cartoon type pic of a cow? then do what you want to it. wrap it on a sphere like you said, or just get some pics off goole for cows maybe, clone brush in photoshop an dyou can just paint like that .

I'm 16. Sadly I have no experience with any 3d Modeling programs yet. I'm going to try and get into it during the summer, but right now it's all foreign to me.
