I will be doing a bust or cat woman from Batman Returns. I am doing the base mesh in maya then the rest in Zbrush. This is my first attempt on a HMC.

I will have a WIP up by the end of the night.

this is just my base mesh, I'm not quite finished yet, I still need to put the ears and the clavicle in. plus I want to try to get the shape of her facial structure a bit more.

Best advice I once got was to go easy on the base mesh if you're going to sculpt it in ZBrush. All you really need is the basic topology and shape, everything else you can nail down during the sculpt.

Looking at areas like the nose you just don't need quite so many polys for the base mesh.

I just recently did a bust of myself and I didnt have a good base mesh. I want to rig it also so I'm trying to keep good topology.
