Hi, I hope someone has come across this problem and figured it out.

I am trying to render a scene with some plants and trees using a 48 node render farm. The scene renders fine on my machine, but comes back from the farm with a strange render bucket grid transposed onto the frame - a sort of grid/ghosting effect. It is only noticeable over the ecosystem stuff (which is animated using wind).

If anyone has a suggestion I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Sam.

here is a render (see next to the tree - especially bad area)

Sam,
Saw your post over at the e-on forums and looked at your pic, too. Wish I could offer you the solution, but here are some ideas.

Can you render a frame of this at Frederic Louguet's Vue renderfarm?
www.ranchcomputing.com (http://www.ranchcomputing.com)

I believe he has a special where you can render for free the first 15 minutes and this should be enough to render out a scene.

If Ranch Computing's renderfarm renders correctly, then your render farm is the problem. If not, then Frederic will surely have some ideas. You may wish also to contact him directly as he's most approachable and helpful.

best,
Chipp
