Hey guys, i was wondering if there is any way to bake Lattice deformations on to an object without having to delete history on the object. Cheers - Modi.

you could duplicate the object, that freezes it in that position..I am pretty sure you can even keep history with it.
Im rendering a rather large scene and cant check for sure right now but give it a try (obviously dont do a instance duplicate)

i would just like to fill in here... nothing special. but instance duplicates CAN be a bit dangerous in maya otherwise too... that is, if you dont use it for the classic symmetric modelling purposes only. if you can, use standard duplicate procedures only.
