apologies for the slightly OT premiere post, but maybe someone has an AE solution or knows a premiere workaround: I've got a base layer consisting of an image with resolution greater than the comp (reason is to have animated scaling for zoom effect without losing quality), and i'm also using a track matte key on it, unfortunately i've discovered you can't scale a clip if it has a track matte key on it.
it not only scales the image but also the area affected by the key... so there's black borders around the comp...? that's really idiotic, the matte should stay the same resolution as the project... or there should be an option for this... i hope this makes sense and any advice would be greatly apprec.
