Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

here are some scenes from actual place in zhejiang china. The scenes are overcast lighting so as to achieve a certain emotion in it. I worked around 4 hours per week on my spare time and finally finished it after 2 months. I used 3dmax, vray for rendering and Photoshop for painting textures.

Very realistic renders ;). Only the water is too shiny.

I really like the last render but it almost looks like its icy out. Besides that I really like this scene.

so amazing...

i was born in Shanghai,china. so i deeply know which style building in Jiangnan area(including Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai). one little river beside the building, many short bridge, people stay outside the room, travellers are so busy, come here and go there.

your project is so wonderful. like my hometown, beautiful environment, clean street. it looks very old, but if you know the history or the meaning or the culture, you can understand how to
build them, paint which color, which brightness of the sunlighting.

fantastic! reminds me of my trip to zhujiajiao.

seeing this image really makes me want to go back to china. you've really captured the feeling of zhejiang.
