Hi to everyone, this is my last matte totally 2d this time. Actually is my first attempt to create a day to night image therefore i put below some photo references i used. I hope to have reach a good result. Crits are welcome, thanks to all.

cool matte i promise to do some of these soon....one crit from me

the shadow from the rope and pillars is to dark and blurry for the lighting...it makes it look like and overlay rather that if its affecting the surface below. Instead of just going over it with brush ...you would need to repaint areas like that to keep textures, and it should be about the intensity of the unlit side of the pillars and bluer to account for ambiance...similar to those rocks in the forground

Thanks for the advise actually i used layers to make that area darker but maybe it happens to be blurry also because i tried to use the existing shadow to start from and therefore in those parts textures are less visible.

Anyway thank you for crits.
