Deepthroat 05-30-2003, 02:14 PM I need to do an underwater explosion for an animation project. Also an aerial view of the explosion above the water. I have afterburn and pro optic suite. Sadley I dont have access to real wave or real flow. Can anybody give me some direction. The lack of sleep is giving me brain block.:scream:

What's the problem then? All you need is MAX, not "make underwater explosion" plugin. Seriously, what's the problem you're having?
BTW, I wrote a really basic underwater explosion in the MAX 4 tutorial manual - have a look.

It was late when I wrote this........................ So to be more precise. The main " problem" im having is producing the water explosion columm that is produced from the explosion itself. I need it to be a fairly weighty blast. I just dont know where to start. The first shot will show the underwater explosion, the it will cut to above the surface showing the blast. It needs to be about a 5 metre blast columm. Is the tutorial you mentioned available online................... im using max 5. Checked out the tuts there. I guess I would just like some referances to guide me. If you can help me, than you will save me some much valued time. Deadline approaches
