This started out as a quick pencil sketch and decided it was worth it to take to a finished piece. I guess I always found Iron Man's facial design a little menacing, being just a plate with featureless slots in it for eyes and mouth, so I thought I'd try push this further and started playing with the idea of his cold metal heart in the lighting of the image.

you know i keep seeing alot of work in the wip forums that say final peices...but by todays standards and by standards i mean in books movies games and so on...alot of that wokr still look like sketches ....at least they would to clients.

you may be pushing for a style ...but i would like you to push harder...i already told you about the brushes for the metal so i wont again...the anatomy from the hip down still needs fixing....anyway ...keep on going.
