View Full Version : Sketch/Toon - per object style?

I'm dipping my toe into doing wireframe rendering with Sketch and Toon.

I have a sphere I'd like to outline each polygon ("edges" in Sketch/Toon-speak). And another object I'd like to only outline the silhouette ("outline").

Is it possible to do two toon render styles in the one pass? It seems like it's a global rendering style as its a post effect.

The workaround is I can always render out two different passes with object buffers and composite it in After Effects.

Its not a post effect (unless you turn on the post effect option in its render tab) Its located in Effects, which are not always post. Yes that is the global setting but like any material it can be applied directly to an object and thus behave like any material, on just the object its applied to.
