Hello everybody:
I´m using kaydara fbx plugin to import a camera animation from max to maya. I have some part of the scene rendering in 3d max and another parts render in maya. The problem is when I try to compose it, the cameras dosen´t fit. I´m rendering in pal(25fps), I have cheked maya settings and it is in pal, the length of the animation is the same than in max, (max has 800 frames and maya to) but the camera dosen´t fit. Can anyone help me?
thank you...:)

You can try with
Maya2MaxRenderKit, ver 0.9 from keith lango

Having them both set to PAL is not the biggest issue. You need to make sure that you translate the the camera aperture and lens information over correctly.

For example, I needed to track an object in max and export the animation to maya. After a bit of messing around we made this formula:

Maya Camera Aperture x 25.4 x 2 = Max Aperture width

EX. .864 x 25.4 x 2 =43.8912

Make sure you set you film fit and lens info in maya and max to the same.

Be sure to post if this works or not.
