CGTalk - Xsi6 to Bodypaint send error

View Full Version : Xsi6 to Bodypaint send error

I copied the Bodypaint exchange plugin file from BP to the Plugin folder of XSI6. There is now "Send to Bodypaint" under FILE in XSI. However, when I have a wireframe model opened in XSI I get get an Unspecified Error bar at bottom when I click on Send to Bodypaint.

What am I doing wrong? There is nothing in XSI Help that I can find, and BP's help just shows how to copy/paste the exchange plugin file to XSI.

You must make sure that you have set the correct paths in your preferences to bodypaint.

Yes, you have to configure the path in the XSI plugin config.
Then all works fine.
