Hello Group

I made this scene in 3D with the 3DMax 5.
What do you think about this image?

Thanks

Looks great! The lighting needs some more work, though IMHO. And I'm a little confused about the great yellow expanse for the top half of the sky.

Looks pretty spectacular to me, the texture is very realistic.

Looks great man! Is it only the tower you made, or the hole cathedral?

This is a Cathedral that exists in my city(Brazil) just the bricks are different, I will try to take a picture and to publish.

Thanks

Yeah, I haven't been to Brazil. I guess that earns you some more beer points then.

Great geometry!

But i think that you could improve the image even more through working on the brick textures. The base texture is very nice, but you can see tiling. I would try to eliminate that. At the same time getting some dirt and irregularities on the walls will help, too.

And if iīm not mistaken, the perspective of the sky in the first picture does not seem to match the perspective of the camera in use.
Seems also to be a very high building. But as i donīt know the height of the building, this could be correct, so feel free to ignore this.

I try to make a new render on this Sunday, with the whole Cathedral.

I will consider all information

Thanks:beer:

Nice work. I think the lighting needs a bit more thought, however. YOu seem to have some sort of overcast sky, yet your shadows are quite noticeable, and the light is a bit artificial (think lightbulb). Adding some depth of field/blur would also help to give a sense of scale to the cathedral -- it looks a little too crisp right now.
