Psotek 05-30-2003, 05:00 AM Hey guys , havent posted here in a while. Heres what ive been up to and I want your opinions on which one you like better. The lighting is slightly different in the 2 pics.
Its a replica of my bedroom by the way.

Top pic looks a lot brighter so I would go for that one. I think you need to work a bit on your textures though.;)

To me, everything just looks a bit flat - a bump map might help this to a certain extent. The wood looks fairly procedural to me - the wood of the curtain-rail for instance looks the same as the wood of the bed - this may well be how it is in real life, but its best not to use the same sort of textures twice in one scene for different objects. Again, with the pictures, I think you should attempt to put some glass in the picture frames that will reflect light a certain way. Ceilings and walls again look procedural. You might want to lighten the colour of the ceiling too - it'll make the room look brighter and bigger. Best of luck with it!

Very nice, simple but stylish. i would agree there is a lack of detail in the image, the lighting still seams a little flat to me and there is also a lack of perspective I think.
It does have a very natural feel too it which is very nice. What software are you using?
