Hello everyone! I've just started this dialogue piece and have made my first blocking pass and would be grateful if you would be kind enough to leave any feedback for me http://www.11secondclub.com/forum/img/smilies/smile.png. This piece when it's done will be going in my show reel (hopefully!) so I'l be looking to you guys over the next few weeks for your two cents...Anyway enough rambling, check it out and thankyou!

I would suggest you to draw an imaginary line connecting each characters head and from that line decide where your camera is going to be. Either on one side or the other but never on both as you have.
This way the blue character is always on left side and the green character is always on the right side. They are not jumping around (yours swap 3 times) and therefore its easier for the viewer to follow the dialogue.

Hey everyone! Just posting an update, it's been going slow and i've been trying to flesh it out and i thought i'd better get some feedback before making any more progress. I'm not to sure about the blue guys final pose, i think maybe it's too slow and i dont know if i'm really feeling it. Anyway here it is:

Hey again, I'm back with another update, I think I'm getting pretty close to what I want with the body movements and I'm looking to polish it off shortly and get to work on the face, again my ears (or eyes in this case http://www.11secondclub.com/forum/img/smilies/tongue.png) are wide open for any comments you have, it's much appreciated!

...and I'm back with another update!(at last, I've been slacking a little...) I've basically been working on the lip sync and made a few changes here and there with the movement, and also a little on the face. I've kinda set myself a deadline for Tuesday next week as I have to move on with my reel if I want to get one finished! Anyway...once again if any of you could be kind enough to give me your two cents it would be a great help!

I think its pretty good actually! You got some really good poses nailed down. Some feedback though.
That first sentence, after machine, he hits a fast pose with his fist up to his neck, but i think it can go a bit slower (so he hits it slightly later) and maybe not stop as fast as it do now, kind of having a slow in there that is very, very subtle.
When the green guy says "what is it" and that left guy breaths, i would have his head drop til he stops the heavy breath. As a note, over all i like the green guys acting, i think it fits him. The lipsyncing seems off at some places though, like it comes to early mostly, might just be a frame or two wrong, but worth looking into (like when the left guy said 'started' in the beginning for example.)
One thing when i watch this is that they hit many poses, but it often happens so there is no movement at all left, i would try to use subtle movements on about everything (not almost visible) and even some more on specific parts to make it less riggid.
Over all i think you're up for something good here, looking forward to next update!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the crit ErikSvensson! I have another update to show you. In this one I've corrected a few things, and also added subtle movement to the poses to keep it alive (as thats the point of being an animator!:D). Anyway again I'd appreciate it if anyone is kind enough to stop buy and leave my their two cents! Thank you!
