Left Behind

I did this image for a friend who used to move a lot when she was a child. I'm trying to bring out not only the loss of a favorite childhood toy, but possibly a childhood that itself was Left Behind during one of the many moves.

wow you did a really good job bring out the toy that got left behind look in this, the whole atmosphere is done very well, the only thing that is bugging me is the leval of detail in the front pieces of grasses some parts are blurry while others look very sharp and crisp

In addition to the other comment, I suggest some depth of field as well. It's quite obvious where your paintFX stop and your image plane begins because of the quality difference, even though the lighting is matched very well. Very nice overall.

WhiteRabbit.obj,

There is no image plane. The grass is painted onto seperate small planes and then laid out in "grass clumps". The trees are each seperate planes as well and treated in the same way. Here's the wireframe to show what I mean:

Beechdbum,

The issue might be that the depth of field I used is too strong and this caused a too sharp of a cutoff in bluring the foreground and and background objects.
