Character: Dragon WIP

Thats pretty good although I think there is something about the bumpmap that doesn't seem right. Its a creative dragon though and the teeth are scary.

That "dragon" head is terrible, it doesn't even look like a dragon, it looks like a weasel without hair. I hope no one is paying you to do this crap, because they deserve their money back if they are.

I appreciate all the comments. I'm almost done texturing the scales on the body. But after that I will be reworking some of the mesh based on various crits I have gotten.

I think the Dragon Head is quite impressive and well modeled and textured, great work. The Teeth look amazing, cant wait to see the body. :thumbsup:

Im not sure about the Claws on the side of the face, but they are original and seem to be well suited. But Im no expert on dragons, maybe they really do have Claws on the side of their face.

What software did you use to make it?

Overall this is looking mostly okay. I do think that the specularity is too uniform though, especially on the skin.

The eyes also lack character, possibly due to the lack of bold pupils so maybe you should enhance them a little more :)

The teeth look like they could do with some translucency. Right now they lack a little depth, and look a bit like stone. Adding translucency and a nice gloss map will make them look more like proper teeth.

The bump map doesn't look like it totally matches up to the colour map, although that might just be because of the lighting in some areas.

Speaking of which, the lighting needs a lot of work. You need to eliminate the black shadows. Improving the lighting setup with greatly enhance the details on your model, as well as give it more realism ;)

You know, i don't know who threatened you but that is bull. Your opinion is not what bothered me, it was the way you said it. Just back your opinion up and nobody will bother it. Believe me, i trash art too, but only if i feel it's my duty to tell that person his work sucks. But i back it up, making him understand his errors en so should you.
