This one @ 100%

Also I tweaked the grass where it is now lower. What are the final comments, before I put this baby into final render? The only thing I can think of is tweaking the lighting a little bit to match the environment [which ever one is works] Thanks everyone for your help and comments! :D

Sincerely,

Kelly

the sky is more purple in the first one.. thats the only thing i think

and kvernon, i dont know what youre aiming at with the model, but if you want more realistic feel to it i think you have to add more variation in the brick-texture
it looks a bit too clean now
the same with the white surfaces..

thats about it.. nothing wrong with the model, just the textures :)

#2, although yo umight want to take in to effect that the sky closest to the sun will be lighter that farther from the sun. Also i'm not to keen on teh length of the grass, a lil too tall next to the tree, and the white house in teh back is blown out... Hope this helps some

I think the grass is fine and if anything needs to be a bit longer. I have never seen someone's lawn that short.

I am suprised nobody noticed this (it is a REALLY good model) but the left fence seems to be floating in air...see how you can see underneath it?

and dude, this scene rocks! :buttrock:

also, it is kind of obvious those trees have no limbs at the top. I don't know if you did this on purpose or what? but I just noticed.

What do you mean by confused? I am confused by this... :(
Oh and I like #2.

Nice job!

I like the feel of the scene, very nice!

My only commnets have allready been mentioned. The fence, and the houses in the background. The grass looks fine, bermuda grass in Texas is allways long and thick like that. At least in my yard:)

Another fellow Texan, great to see you here!

Guess the lawn guys hadn't mowed that part of the lawn....

the 2nd garage is opening, otherwise it needs to be fixed! :D
but it looks pretty good... my only critique I guess would be the grass looks plasticky; too fake. I dunno
Cheers,

WOW!! Thank you all!! :buttrock:

Towards the 2 skies, Mackan you got it right, the top sky is a partial overlay of the background I had behind it [which was this deep sunrise gradient] originally.

Mackan: Thanks for the input about the 1st the sky, and 2nd the brick. I may tweak it later on. right now, I've gotta keep it. the image is going to be fairly small for print. Towards the cleanlyness of the brick, the house is a 5yr old house. What kind of grunge would yo do to it? I did subtle grunge around the base of the house, but that's it. I couldn't think of anything else with this house. :airguitar *added w/edit* I used a little bit of fog~ do you think the fog is something that could be hindering the image, or don't worry about that? I was thinking about the brink and thought [woa... I thought! dad would be proud! ] maybe it losing the detail! *added w/edit*

koinu: Damn, forgot to flip it [the sky]! I'll work it into the final! Good call! What do you mean about the grass around the tree being high? do you mean that whole patch/ section of grass, or just a tight area/ ring around the tree being high? Mucho thank you!! Oh and thanks about the house! It was a lighting issue for sure, and is now correct ~ the light has been moved! WOOOOO!!!

Krisc: Ahhh, good catch. Well the ehhhh house... it's a house that goes from lot to lot, like an RV! MMMK, well maybe not, but it never hurts to throw in some far fetched story! :surprised I'll clone some more grass over there to cover it up!

Tony: AHHHH ha! someone's seen this type of lawn! LOL :) Thanks fellow texan! I agree about the fence. I think I'm gunna make the whole thing back there look like new. It just looks odd with the different woods.

koinu: I'm thinking it's a perspective thing. Both main sides are the the same [left and right of the driveway.] Which one seems higher to you? Danke!!

Gremlin: you don't like the garage being open like that? Maybe I should make it more subtle?

OMG! I am soo greatful for everyone's response, but I want to ask another question. After thinking about video [NTSC] and how it's important to desaturate the color. I was thinking that maybe the color is too saturated for the picture. You all think this may be a factor as well ~ something that would help the image?

Sincerely,

Kelly :bounce:

Oh, and what other things could be done to the driveway for damage? I've got some rust and oil spots.

again thanks,

Kelly
