This is the hanger I made for my airship, it is roughly 130k polys with the airship and objects in it... Modeled in Max 5, textured in Photoshop...

It looks as if it was took right out of a game, it's nice though but i hope you weren't looking for realism.

Is it for a game engine? The picture is very dark, but modelling and texturing look great!

Nothing is that clean it needs lots and lots more dirt.

Other than that the level of detail is very nice.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Lethal: No I wans't going for realism...kinda a fantasy/sci-fi mix, FF9 was a heavy inspiration.

Kel Solaar: No this is just for my portfolio reel, I grad from college in about 4 months. I will try and brighten the piece up a bit when I begin animating the characters in the scene. Thanks for the suggestion.

FLOw: THANKS!

VFXJ: I agree about the dirt, and I will probaly go back into my textures for a second pass and add some grime. Thanks.

I really like the detail and especially the skylights. Question- are the small squares on the right and left walls lights? If so, how would it look if a small bit of haze were applied to show the direction of the lights beams? Also it wouldn't hurt to boost the contrast of light and dark areas. Everything looks to uniform. These are just picky things. It looks great and again I love the detail!

what a nice start. some sexy materails, atmos, and lighting with a spot of GI would make this image really sing.
