Title: Iris - Pose and Expressions
Name: Rafi Sen
Country: New Zealand
Software: Maya, Photoshop

Iris, my first 3d model made using Maya, is fully rigged and has morph targets for expressions and lip syncing.

nice facials :D will be interesting to see how they work in animation :D

in terms of the pose.. it would be nice to see a stronger pose... tilt the shoulder so it will form a stronger V shape with her hip for a starter..

the shoulders looks a bit screwed too by weighting maybe? especially for the collar bones.....

cant comment on the character modelling as i am still learning... but maybe, just maybe... the chest is a bit too long compare to her stomach?

for the rigging and weight wise.. i would like to see a picture where she lift up her arms more to see how does the weighting work out... same as her tights...

thx

She's hot.

... and back on topic, I'd love to see some animation as well. It seems you've done a really good job, but I want to see her move. =]

Thanks fo your comments - I agree about the shoulders - weighting was quite difficult in quite a lot of areas.

I've actually animated her - have a look at my video Juicy (http://rafis.cgsociety.org/gallery/521933/) - that has my video where I have animated her - not a lot though, but it should still give you some idea.

Thanks, have a look at my video - I've got a few different versions of her animated. Oh, and I saw your portfolio - really like some of your work.
