Very good work with the reel! I like how you went into so much detail with all the assets used in the opening shot.

Fantastic! Very cinematic. I love how the style seems to 'fit' so well and nothing seems out of place.
Because I feel I have to make a suggestion, I will say that the only suggestion I would make is having the pilot move a bit more when there is the close up (around 20 sec). I realise it's not an animation reel, but everything else is so high quality.
The music also fits really well.

Thanks George.
Actually the school required everything to be done in 12 weeks, so we had to choose a major and minor aspects from modeling, texturing, animation and lighting. That's what the reel ended up. But I really want to add more animation elements when I get some time. ;)

 Is it just me, or is this thread the " CGTalk (http://forums.cgsociety.org/index.php?) > Showcase Gallery (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=3) > Finished Work: Animation (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=154)" thread about modelling and texturing? I constantly find myself looking through modelling reels and rigging reels and texturing reels, when all i wanted to do was click on "Finished work: ANIMATION" and watch "ANIMATION!" Anyways, i am just mumbling on!
Awesome reel by the way though, lovely work!

I think 'ANIMATION' here means VIDEO rather than STILL IMAGE;)
And maybe I am a little bit lazy to do animation.:p
Cheers, mate.

great modelling reel, very original in the way you presented it. And doing the little fly by of each model and have some components of them move added a nice touch.
