Here is my last character inspired by a design of James Hawkins
The model is 2489 polys and the mapping has just begun...

I like the design. You SHOULD texture this model, it could be a neat demo piece. Nice job :thumbsup:

good stuff, I love hawkprey's stuff as well. good model, can't wait to see it skinned.
The skinning is in progress but I hate do that because I am bad in drawing :( but I try.

I like the design of the character.
The texture is a good start. Are you going to be going for Realistic gritty look or a more stylized bright look like Warcraft?
I will have to see more more progress on the texture to crit since it apears you just started. The uvs apear to be layed out well tho. ;)
Just a question, do you prefer this style instead of cartonish style?

I think the "cartoonish style" would look better if you had some shading (in the texture). But doing it in that style would limit what you can do with the model. But, I really dug that texture style in Kingdom Hearts. In Kingdom Hearts, they use a generic light scource diffused directly above the character. The shading was completely in the texture. It was subtle, and looked nice. But again, it limits what you can do with the model. I love the model. I can't wait to see it in animation!
