to create fast motion blur
from the help of xsi 3.0 i know if i adjust the value of Motion Blur Sampling Threshold to 0, the Antialiasing Sampling value will automatic set to the same value (0), but when i adjust the value of Motion Blur Sampling Threshold to 0, the Antialiasing Sampling value dont automatic set to the same value

there is some wrong with my operation?

and when i manually adjust the value of both to 0 the result is very bad (see the pic) , that is fast motion blur??

Set your anti-aliasing higher. Try 2,2 or 3,3.

Also, I think the only threshold values you need to set to 0 are the motionblur ones. Not the ones in the anti-aliasing tab.

that is great when i adjust min level and max level both to 2 the effect is not bad!! there is no grain whit it!!

but "so the Antialiasing Sampling values are automatically set to the same value. "

"set to the same value" what does it mean?
and where can i find Antialiasing Sampling parameter?

thanks a lot for your help!! :wavey:

For what I know and tried, if your scene contain only objects in motion, with no static point, you can disable the anti-aliasing, and put a Big, Big number on the Motion Blur Threshold. With that you get a really good motion blur, and really fast to calculate.

Hi !

The antialias sampling means the aliasing sampling in Your render options(min and max sampling).
"so the Antialiasing Sampling values are automatically set to the same value. " this means if You try to render with a min 0 and max 2 value ,then mray sets the numbers to the max sampling(in this case it will set 2 2 ) but only if it render the scene,in the options box You can not notice it.( if You were using mray standallone you can see it in the progress message). but of course this is only when you set the motion tressholds to 0. it activates the fast mblur.
