Hi all! I have been working as a arch/interior viz artist on still images for 2 and a half year and now I'm really keen on equipped myself with animation/vfx knowledge.

This demoreel is mainly done to learn animated lighting & compositing skill. It took me 3 and a half months of few hours sleeping everyday and intensive learning + working on sunday. Finally, I'm able to finish this demoreel within schedule (but too sad I fail to pick up object/character animation and vfx within this period)

As I'm self-taught in this so I really hope anyone of you can give me critique to help me improve. I can accept any advanced critique so just feel free to tell me what you think about it and how I should improve. As for learning purpose, the reel doesn't have music (also I'm not good in music, hehe), but if anyone can introduce me a nice one, that is much appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Hi...
I have self-taught the stuff i be doing too...
And i really liked your works. Very good renderings with a good compositing.
The only thing I´m missing is some music. It does not make your work better,
but with music the presentation becomes more alive.

Although, you have brought up some impressive shots! Well done!

Thanks. :)

Thanks. I saw your demoreel too and yours is simply better than mine, my camera movement is not as lively as yours. Learn something now.

About the music, agree with you but I think I will just dive into animation now and return to this later. :D

=====================
No one else want to give me critique? :(

Nice work, glad you found the hallway scene of some use! That was actualy my favourite lighting peice in the reel too. Only managed to look at the lowres youtube version at work, ill have a look at the HD later before giving any more comments.

Cheers,
Dan.

Hi Dan,

It is really surprise to see you here, I'm so glad you have drop me a comment. Your scene really helps a lot, and I have lots of fun working on that, so it is also the scene that I spent most of my time with.

So are you going to give me comment anyway? I'm still waiting, yeah, I can't wait to read your comment, maybe about what I should do to make a better lighting & compositing reel next time?

Again, thanks a lot for making such a wonderful scene online.
