Nice render.

It look like a wet place, because all the green stuff.
But the part of the room above window has no green stuff at all, like it's from some other room...

but still I like this image.

all the best

Thanks.

Do you think, I should also place some plants there?

It's got s great sort of atmosphere to it, what was the idea behind making the room. what kind of room is it ment to be? Like ruins? Texturing is awesome.

I think it could use some plants, maybe some ivy like plants covering some of the walls. The ceiling could use a little life as well!

I guess it's to dark for Ivy and stuff... but maybe it could grow close to the window...

suggestion: Since there seems to be such a bright light source coming from the door, shouldn't the corridor be a little brighter?

yeh there seems to be more light needed for as bright as the light coming in, maybe you could suggest some mossiness on the window panels so you wont have to lighten it?

just a tip tho, lol, its fricken great

Well, it was inspired by a photograph, that had this incredible contrast... i guess, that's some kind of technique... and that's waht I liked about the pic and wanted to show in my scene...it's not the real light, that light's the seen, only a high contrast...

I love it. The only thing is that (I dunno, It may just be me...) the right wall looks a little higher than the left. I dunno, it probably isn't. I really like this and I think you should make a character like a knight that is sitting there with his sword between his knees and his hands are on the sword and his head is resting against the wall. I think that would look sweet! :bounce: I always love making things more complex than they should be by adding things lol.

Very atmospherical!!

Still the windows are maybe just a bit to bright, takes the attention away from the rest a bit, which is a shame cause there are some nice details to be found there.

Great rendering with an interesting mood  .
What I don't like is the edge of wall / ceiling and the ceiling texture don't fit to the walls (that's a matter of taste).
How about volume light ?

In purely CG terms it's a nice image. But I'm not sure what the story behind the image is, which doesn't help "sell" it. The doorway looks new and modern, while the corridor looks old and weathered. There has to be a reason for the juxtaposition of two such different environments. Also, the doorway looks new and clean, suggesting it must be in use, but the stone floor is covered in moss. If the floor is that unused, then so must be the door we're viewing, which would mean the side closest to us would be dirtier and probably have moss on it too since it's in the same environment....
