View Full Version : Character: Sue
jamihn 05-29-2003, 08:13 AM Sort of a repost. I flipped the original, moved the chest down a bit so she looked more proportional, redid the pants, the face, the chin, the gun, and put in a proper background. sorta.

What program did you use for this? I'm assuming Photoshop.
It looks pretty good but there are a lot of elements you should look into, such as the pants for starters... They look to be 'behind' everything else in the scene... Less 3D and more 2D, and it gives them such a flat appearance it's distracting, at least for me. (And I just woke up too.)
Everything is superbly colored, however it's so flat. The kneepads, the face... The face is really nice but oh so flat.

I agree with Matt, and the only other thing that i notice is her arm with the gun. The perspective/angle of it just throws the whole piece outta whack. it's turned at such a weird angle. try putting something in your hand, then stand in front of a mirror and you'll see what i mean. your elbow will point out and your wrist stays inline with it.
