I like the second one most. You could have a little more suggestive strokes especially in the last one where his armor is very accurate and evenly lit. More radical lights and perhaps a bit larger strokes could really kick it further.

yeah mikko you are right bout the even lighting and the bigger strokes, although its the mud thats my biggest problem.

I got inspired by your latest stuff so I made my vision of the Roman guy. It's pretty small 'cause I painted over the original. Hope you don't hate me for doing these :)

the rough style is nice. i think the riders proportions are not correct. he should have longer legs and the horse is too small... good lighting though!
